A new dimension: Falcon's six-zone induction range hits the sweet spot

British manufacturer underlines induction expertise with latest addition to extensive portfolio

Falcon has launched the Dominator Plus E3916i, a six-zone induction range that puts six full-power 2.5 kW zones into a standard 900 mm footprint. Part of the Dominator Plus cookline, it combines outstanding reliability and rugged construction with high performance and energy efficiency.

Until now, kitchens with a standard 900 mm space have had to choose between four high-powered induction zones and six zones with less power behind them. The E3916i removes that compromise, bringing a new dimension to Falcon's extensive induction portfolio.

"What busy kitchens have been asking for is six zones with real power behind every one of them," says Lawrence Hughes, sales and marketing director of Falcon. "Six zones give chefs the flexibility and capacity they need for lots of pan work, and with 2.5 kW on every zone, they no longer have to trade power for flexibility."

The 2.5 kW zones are fast, responsive and built to last, with heavy-duty induction components rated for 30,000 hours of use: the equivalent of 8 hours a day, 7 days a week for 10 years. Their speed, precise temperature control and capacity make the E3916i a direct induction equivalent of a six-burner range, ideal for the busy restaurants and sites that rely on lots of pan work. Its power requirements are lower than those of Falcon's high-power Dominator Plus induction models, so it can be installed in a wide variety of sites.

Below the hob, a 2/1 GN fan-assisted oven offers a 100 to 250 °C range, 5 shelf positions with 2 shelves supplied, and twin glass-panelled doors with an oven light, so chefs can check cooking without losing heat.

The new model underlines Falcon's expertise in induction. The company offers one of the widest choices of induction ranges and cooking tops on the market, from its One Series models to the high-power Dominator Plus units, and the E3916i now sits between them.

Falcon doesn't take electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) lightly. Rather than rely on component certification alone, the company has all electrical products independently tested by a third party. That confirms they doesn't interfere with other electronic equipment and isn't affected by it, so it works reliably alongside the other electronics in busy kitchens where space is at a premium.

Lawrence says, "The addition of the six-zone range means we have an induction model for virtually every foodservice application, from small cafes through busy restaurants to

big institutions. We work closely with chefs and operators to make sure we're using our induction expertise to develop solutions that precisely meet the market's needs."

A four-zone sister model, the Dominator Plus E3614i, is also available, bringing the same full-power 2.5 kW zones and heavy-duty induction components to a compact 600 mm range for kitchens where space is tight.
