While not new, sous vide cooking is one of the latest trends in cooking. The E9640 sous vide water bath offers many benefits to the caterer - minimal weight loss means more yield and therefore more profit; vacuum packed food items can be stored for longer, minimising food wastage; ideal for slow cooking and overnight cooking; this method of cooking enhances colour, texture and flavour.
The E9640 has a manual fill well that holds 28 litres of water, which makes it ideal for cooking all foodstuffs, from individual portions to large joints of meat. This free standing unit is supplied with a 13A plug so can be located anywhere in the kitchen. It comes with a low level sensor, timer and alarm.
Part of the F900 Series, it is fullly compatible with other models in the range and features the DLS suiting system. It is also IPX5 rated for ease of cleaning.
